Truth about Libya - Watch this video and be Shocked! I have Confirmed what this video claims is Truth! Libya had the Best Human Rights for the People and they were Free!

Update 10/18/11 - So people are celebrating Gaddahfi being killed today?  The media has shown a couple of very small groups of people celebrating but they are acting like the whole country is.  They are lying!
Hillary Clinton on video about Gaddahfi's death "We Came, We Saw, He DIED"  She then laughed - link to video  http://youtu.be/mlz3-OzcExI

Update 10/27/11 - Kingworld News interviewed Billionaire Hugo Salinas - In the interview he said Gaddahfi was killed over starting to get a Gold currency started.
Added 11/15/11 - Gaddahfi's Gold Money would have devastated the Dollar.

I watched this video and was shocked by what it claims in how amazing Libya is/was and how Gaddahfi treated his people.  I didn't believe that everyone had free electricity, free great medical care, interest free loans, govt. paid 50% for purchase of a car, govt gave newly married couples $50,000 to buy a house, the lists goes on and on in how well the Libyan people have/had it.  The problem was Libya had an independent state bank, not part of BIS (Rothschild's banks) and wanted to switch trading oil from dollars to gold.

I have confirmed what is claimed in this video is TRUE!

HERE IS THE VIDEO - WATCH IT - GET INFORMED ON WHAT IS TRUTH!

Did you notice how clean the streets are and how nice all the buildings are in the video?  Did you notice the nice cars?  Did you notice how throughout all the streets you did not see any trash?  Did you notice there was no poverty?  Did you notice no one looked homeless and having to beg on the streets?   Did you see the truth?

I am providing links of articles.   - I am putting the actual links showing compared to embedded in the words so people can see where the articles actually come from and they are not blogs but newspapers around the world!

Qaddafi made HUMAN RIGHTS A PRIORITY IN LIBYA!

http://economicsnewspaper.com/economics/the-libyan-crisis-spontaneous-revolution-or-coup-in-progress-28187.html
In an article published February 28, 2011 on the site picked up by Fox News and The Post April 26, 2011, we also learn that “While the UN hounds feverishly to condemn the Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi, for grave abuses against demonstrators, the organization Human Rights Council prepares to approve a glowing report for Libya on human rights. His report commends Libya for helping improve educational opportunities for making human rights a “priority” and to have improved under his “constitutional”. Several countries, including Iran, Venezuela, North Korea and Saudi Arabia, but also Canada, Libya to give positive points for the legal protections it provides to its citizens – who are now in revolt against the regime and face bloody reprisals [3].

In conclusion, although controlled media disinformation, Libya is a country that, beyond oil, 144 tons of gold in the vaults of the Central Bank of true Government of Libya, a country that offers its people free medical services and quality education system and a 100% subsidized by the state, a country that offers interest-free loans to its citizens, a country that has no debts to the IMF, World Bank or other financial institutions around the world and finally a country which, for all these, is a rich country, sovereign and independent
why the Libyan people had necessarily to civil war and its leader suddenly became a tyrant and dictator who should be evicted as soon as possible by the international coalition. And all this, name of “democracy” that must settle by force and allowing insurgents to better serve the interests of the Masters of the World.

http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/MD14Ak02.html

Portions from above link - it has much more information - but this is the information confirming part of what the video states.
[Libyans] are entitled to free treatment, and their hospitals provide the best in the world of medical equipment. Education in Libya is free, capable young people have the opportunity to study abroad at government expense. When marrying, young couples receive 60,000 Libyan dinars (about 50,000 US dollars) of financial assistance. Non-interest state loans, and as practice shows, undated. Due to government subsidies the price of cars is much lower than in Europe, and they are affordable for every family. Gasoline and bread cost a penny, no taxes for those who are engaged in agriculture. The Libyan people are quiet and peaceful, are not inclined to drink, and are very religious.
They maintained that the international community had been misinformed about the struggle against the regime. "Tell us," they said, "who would not like such a regime?"

Even if that is just propaganda, there is no denying at least one very popular achievement of the Libyan government: it brought water to the desert by building the largest and most expensive irrigation project in history, the US$33 billion GMMR (Great Man-Made River) project. Even more than oil, water is crucial to life in Libya.

Another provocative bit of data circulating on the Net is a 2007 "Democracy Now" interview of US General Wesley Clark (Ret). In it he says that about 10 days after September 11, 2001, he was told by a general that the decision had been made to go to war with Iraq. Clark was surprised and asked why. "I don't know!" was the response. "I guess they don't know what else to do!" Later, the same general said they planned to take out seven countries in five years: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Iran.

What do these seven countries have in common? In the context of banking, one that sticks out is that none of them is listed among the 56 member banks of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). That evidently puts them outside the long regulatory arm of the central bankers' central bank in Switzerland.

The most renegade of the lot could be Libya and Iraq, the two that have actually been attacked. Kenneth Schortgen Jr, writing on Examiner.com, noted that "[s]ix months before the US moved into Iraq to take down Saddam Hussein, the oil nation had made the move to accept euros instead of dollars for oil, and this became a threat to the global dominance of the dollar as the reserve currency, and its dominion as the petrodollar."

According to a Russian article titled "Bombing of Libya - Punishment for Ghaddafi for His Attempt to Refuse US Dollar", Gaddafi made a similarly bold move: he initiated a movement to refuse the dollar and the euro, and called on Arab and African nations to use a new currency instead, the gold dinar. Gaddafi suggested establishing a united African continent, with its 200 million people using this single currency.
And that brings us back to the puzzle of the Libyan central bank. In an article posted on the Market Oracle, Eric Encina observed:
One seldom mentioned fact by western politicians and media pundits: the Central Bank of Libya is 100% State Owned ... Currently, the Libyan government creates its own money, the Libyan Dinar, through the facilities of its own central bank. Few can argue that Libya is a sovereign nation with its own great resources, able to sustain its own economic destiny. One major problem for globalist banking cartels is that in order to do business with Libya, they must go through the Libyan Central Bank and its national currency, a place where they have absolutely zero dominion or power-broking ability. Hence, taking down the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) may not appear in the speeches of Obama, Cameron and Sarkozy but this is certainly at the top of the globalist agenda for absorbing Libya into its hive of compliant nations.
Libya not only has oil. According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), its central bank has nearly 144 tonnes of gold in its vaults. With that sort of asset base, who needs the BIS, the IMF and their rules?

All of which prompts a closer look at the BIS rules and their effect on local economies. An article on the BIS website states that central banks in the Central Bank Governance Network are supposed to have as their single or primary objective "to preserve price stability".

If the Gaddafi government goes down, it will be interesting to watch whether the new central bank joins the BIS, whether the nationalized oil industry gets sold off to investors, and whether education and healthcare continue to be free.

UPDATE - 10/21/11 - ANOTHER VIDEO WITH TRUTH ABOUT LIBYA AND GADDAHFI

July 1st rally - These people Loved Gaddafi obviously!

Here is the video of people in Green Square in Support of Gaddafi - on July 17 2011

Russia Today - Says it is all about oil and Gaddafi planning on trading oil for gold.

I feel so sad for the Libyan people now!  They had lived a good and free life with a leader who believed in their freedom and human rights without enslavement.  We have been feed lies through our propaganda medias and NATO/UN/U.S./UK/France and all others involved with the bombings of Libya have committed crimes against humanity!  They have killed thousands of innocent Libyans!  Libya will be another Iraq, the infrastructure will be destroyed the people will live in fear and will have constant and innocent lost of life.  This is so sad and so disgusting!

PEOPLE WAKE UP - SEE AND LEARN THE TRUTH!

My note to those who are doing this to Libya:

Let me just say, to those who are doing this - you may control most of the world, people and money, including all of those who think they are free.......  Guess what.... You ARE breaking Universal Laws!  You ARE collecting Karma over this.  You may not think you are, but you ARE!  You may think because you tell us things ahead of time that it takes the Karma off you!  You are WRONG!  The energies are changing, the people are connecting to the higher energies as you keep yours in the lower energies.  Higher energies will win out!  As much as you try to enslave all people into your world of debt and try to control money, it is falling apart, people are waking up to your games.  Some of us are awake to what you have been doing and still trying to do, most are still asleep and refuse to even look at the truth.   You are afraid of the people and the changes of energy and that is why you are clamping down more and more on all the people around the world.  The U.S. is a police state and only those who are deaf, dumb and refuse to open their eyes still believe they are free.  But I know and have the faith that God/Universe will win!  You know that too, so you are getting cruder and cruder in your methods of keeping people enslaved.  You will Lose, the people's energies are stronger than yours!  You are trying to keep people in fear, but people are waking up and the Universe/God is much stronger than you are!  I look forward to when the control is switched from you to the people and that will happen!  So try as you might to take control over all the people who are still free, you are over stepping your bounds!  It is going to come back and bite you in the ass!

Video just released today (Aug 28th 2011) of what Libya - Tripoli looks like now, after Rebels NATO took over.

Here is another video (added Aug 29 2011) - NATO approves of this? Disgusting!

There is the distinct threat of economic collapse in the air and the police force and the army are preparing for a showdown on Main Street but we can’t afford to go over that cliff. Violence will only empower more violent leaders. We can see down through history that the outcome of violence is violence. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. How many times must we repeat this scenario before we learn that this way of violence only perpetuates the attitude of violence as a means to an end. We must reach deeper into ourselves for the resources that we all possess as multidimensional beings. Our thoughts create our reality and we have barely scratched the surface of our creative and intuitive nature. It has been proven through scientific process that human thought, properly focused, can affect and change physical mass. This is well documented in Quantum Physics. It has also been displayed by a group of meditators who travelled from city to city with the intent of decreasing the crime rate with meditation during their stay in each city. The results were remarkable! They decreased the crime rate by between 40% to 60% during their stay in at least 69 cities, of which Washington DC was one. It is time to understand the power and the nature of the power we all possess. It is time for a transformation of consciousness. A consciousness that is both individual and cosmic in every moment. It is time for an unveiling of our true nature. And how do we deal with the tyranny we are apparently faced with? With the most powerful energy in the universe which every one of us possess. Love. From the depths of the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, the Koran, the Gnostic gospels, the Torah, the Vedas, from the works and writings of Plato, Albert Einstein, Carl Jung, Sir Isaac Newton, Sir Francis Bacon, Thomas Jefferson, from the Zohar to Noetic Science to the Egyptian Mystery Schools to the Shamanic texts to the Pistis Sophia all describe the power that the mind and heart possess and the power of the collective consciousness. It is time to use that collective consciousness to our collective advantage. To create a world that better represents our true and spiritual nature. A world where Love conquers all. So let us use Love via the collective consciousness to influence positive change and unveil a world that better suits all of Life and all of Earth. We have the power within us to affect this change. It has been scientifically proven that the power of human thought “grows exponentially with the number of minds that share that thought.” In psychology, it is described as “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” It seems that the time is upon us to join together around the world with a singular healing intent and what better focus for this intent then Love. This is not a fairytale. It is the truth we are becoming. Let us, as individuals, consciously join together around the world as a collective consciousness and focus our intent to Love for all the world. Let us evoke change with this power. That will be our justice!

  12. UH, Anon - if you haven't noticed this is not a forum. This is a blog. You may want to learn the difference between the two and it is very easy to tell them apart.
And since you don't even know the difference between a forum and a blog, it is not surprising you don't know the difference between truth and lies.

So the video which is all truth is a joke to you?

And anyone who looks at truth and sees what the U.S is doing, should then leave the country instead of trying to make it better by getting truth out?

How adult is that to call another a name? Seems you have a lot of growing up to do and a lot of learning to do on what is a forum, what is a blog and what is truth, besides what a patriot really is of a country.

I never knew patriots to be deaf, dumb and blind to what was happening around them.

hhhmmmm...... me thinks, someone has a problem with truth getting out and is just a itsy bit upset that truth is being set free regarding Libya.

  18. Anon - isn't that the line that the propaganda media, NATO and all the Western counties are using? About how terrible Gaddafi was to his people? Isn't that the normal B.S.?

You are saying all the free health care etc is a lie? Yet other media outlets around the world have confirmed it. When the truth has been verified that the people had it great in Libya and Gaddafi was a good leader you are just going to take the line... all false?

Are we suppose to be just good little sheep and believe all the propaganda and lies spewed out by MSM and NATO/UN/U.S./U.K/France?

I guess we aren't suppose to question anything we are told in your opinion.

Links are there proving the truth and all you have to do is a few searches and you will find what the video has in it is truth. I could have put lots more links in saying the same thing, but I verified and confirmed the truth with the ones in the post.

I think I can safely predict what the results will be: The rebels will succomb to endless infighting and assasinations; they will be corrupt, incompetent, and puppets of the West. Eventually, they'll turn against the West or elements of the rebels will turn against those who are puppets.

And the Libyan people will be able to celebrate their freedom when the West goes down in flames due to a web of debt destruction - which is not too far off!

Don't believe that about depleted uranium? Do a search on Iraq babies since the U.S. invaded that country.

Just because Gaddafi gave people some money to live, when they should all be millionaires does not mean free. He and his sons and military raped lots of women, and some political prisoners were executed without jury. Is that freedom?

According to God in the Bible (those that rape and kill) are to be also killed. The Koran also confirms this too.

The only good thing that perhaps Gaddafi did, was to establish the gold standard for Africa and the Middle East which is so much better than the US dollar and Euro backed up by nothing. One day, euros and dollars would be paper money, without value. The bankers ensure that inflation gets the better of you. The Central Bankers are reducing your purchasing power, and ironically, their job is to reduce inflation!

  31. Anon - So we should ignore the U.S. military killing and raping people in Iraq and Afghanistan and ignore the U.S. keeping people locked up for life at Gitmo without being able to ever have a trial or even have the accusations against them heard by a judge. We should ignore the U.S. torture chambers around the world.

Yes the U.S. is so much better of a country, than Libya was. Gosh darn... we will ignore how immoral it has become and we will ignore how all the citizens are being bankrupted by the banks.

Yes, lets all put blinders on and not ever look deeper into what is happening around the world.

Gosh, the U.S. really backs their people. Just look at how all the AGs of the country are now making all the banks illegal foreclosure fraud legal. Those who are suppose to uphold the law are working on how to have one law for corporations and one law for the people.

Did the U.S. ever do for it's citizens what Gaddafi did for his when it has become as much as a tyranny state, you are claiming Gaddafi held against his people. Which btw - proof is shown that is not true.

  33. I totally Agree with thiz Video. God has providence. Years ago, I was working security at a site, where we had several Libyian natives employeed there. I remember getting into a conversation with one of them about Libya in general, and Khadaffi in particular.
The man told me, that Khadaffi is really Loved by the people, he takes care of the population as a Father would his children. I was like, 'Yeah right, Come on Now'.. , But the man, started to break down ALL the things that Khadaffi would do for his people, like FREE Health-Care, Free Electricy, married couples would get FREE money from the Government, FREE this & that. He said that most people have Love Khadaffi so much that majority of homes have pictures & images of Khadaffi hanging up & somewhere in they house, almost 'Shrine-ish'. I didn't want to believe this man, especially with all the BAD things I heard from My Government about him, hell, Reagan tried to BOMB him back in the 80's & missed him but killed his daughter. We (USA) wouldn't do that to just & decent man. Would we? Plus, I reasoned, this couldn't be true, because how is the standard of living and quality of Life BETTER over there in Libya, than for Americans here in the USA. NO. This man was talking Non-sense. *Then Later of I learned how Dubai would share its wealth with its citizens. And other other middle east OIL countries would turn around and give back to their peoples the spoils of their Land. Then I thought back to what My Libyian co-worker had to me years before about Khaddaffi basically 'sharing' the countries Oil-wealth with his people. I admit it started to kinda make some sense. :'/
*Then almost a year ago, I researched the New World Order...... and BAM! Everything started coming together. The ROTHSCHILD international Banksters who control well over Half of the Entire world's wealth, is backed up by NATO & American Military as the Muscle to bully, punk, bitch-slap, rape, steal, kill, destroy, and conquer / take-over the remaining countries who have the resources they want (OIL, Gold, Diamonds, Minerals, Gases, etc) and to be able to establish one of their 'Toilet-PAPER' = FIAT, thin-Air fake money 'centers' that they call & "bank" to further enslaved the peoples with 15-TRILLION $ 'DEBT' !! *New World Order* And LIBYA will be it's Next Victim.... :( -'LLL'-"777"

  36. Sherrie,

While I agree with your sentiments, and do believe that the NATO invasion had to do with Ghaddafi's plan to introduce the African Gold Dinar and not issue money out of debt, the notion that health care and et cetera is free simply isn't true. There is no such thing as a free lunch in the market. Maybe the patient doesn't get the bill, but it is paid for with resources, at the very least the time and expertise of the health care practitioner. I know what the Western media pushes is a lie, but combating a lie with another isn't convincing, even to a person like me who you could probably consider "the choir." Just saying. The RT news report is spot on though.

  37. What those inbred Nazi Zionist "banksters" and "Statesmen" are doing is waging what can best be described as "MUTAGENIC" warfare on all people of less developed nations who possess mineral wealth. The intention is GENOCIDE for energy, power, and total domination over those they let survive, in fear, for their own sadistic needs and wants.
Perhaps we should remove those who tell us to "get out". They are not patriots. They are TRAITORS and morons.
Do a search on the children in Viet-Nam who are victims of U.S. use of chemical weapons in that imperial military adventure.
There are many examples of U.S. war crimes. In the final analysis: the U.S. has never been "The Good Guys". The intentions of our leaders have never been honorable or humane.
The true "Axis of Evil" is the UK, U.S, and the fascist theocracy of Apartheid Israel.

  38. Dear Sherrie, I really appreciate your site and all of the great information that you post. But I think you are wrong in your conclusions about Gaddafi. I do not doubt that we Americans have not received the "whole" truth from our government concerning U.S. involvement. But please reread the green book, check Wikipedia, and consider history.... Libya is and extremely repressive society.

RT is doing a good job but the rest are all lies!! so many dead bodies, so much destruction... I hear the NATO planes now, they keep flying overhead day and night 24/7, non-stop... so many innocent people getting bombed by NATO, so many deaths... everyone and everything is affected even animals and trees, complete destruction, it can not be human!! There aren't words to describe what's going on!!

No thief is Muammar, he's loved for sharing oily wealth.
He made them own homes, cars, and tools, free-market to the test,
Mixed in with public services, at socialism's best.

He built a lot of hospitals with health care given free,
With schools for education, home and foreign, pay no fee.
Though Man-Made River Great he built, no tax to worry heads,
No interest on loans and $50 Grand to newly-weds.
He gave up power to the People's Conferences new.

With UN Human Rights the best, what are complaints about?
Paid malcontents by CIA are only ones who shout.
"Protect civilians from attack" United Nations said,
A "No-fly zone" turned to bombardment making many dead.
By showing up our leaders as failures that they are,

  42. I agree with your analysis. the US is a bully. Shame on u!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Indeed, this video captures the reality with great accuracy. I simply cant believe that the US has been dragged into another conflict in the Arab world. Although I agree with this video, I would like to see proof of the claim that the Rothchilds own the new central bank of Libya, and of other Western nations.

I am also shocked by the level of wealth apparent in Libya. America by comparison is a poverty stricken country. The American people are destitute, while fat banksters are on welfare on the money of the tax payers.

  44. America has poor business ethics. People get rich by exploiting the poor and feeding them poisen. We need to stand up as a country and fight for our rights as a people to make business ethics a revolutionary changes and make business not as usual. We need to put human life and the quality of human life a priority. And if you want to sell me something for my dinner table, don't slowly poison me. But rather feed me foods that'll improve the quality of my life.

  45. America, a country that has accumulated more debt since the Jews took over with the FED/CFR is in no position to be running around the world telling other countries they need t be like us. We have moral or legal authority. It is a pathetic display of hubris. The gullible brainwashed masses gloat over the downfall of Gaddafi. They are the real fools and debt slaves of Jew debt mill. The destruction of a free country is a new low for the Zionist controlled west. Even if Gaddafi was as bad as they say there is no legal or moral justification for what Obama and NATO has done. I have never been so ashamed of the actions of my country.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Yeah sure Anon - 'Lies and BS from Sherrie's propaganda machine".

Lets think about that one now.

Here's a few questions for you regarding that statement.

    1 - did I create the video?

    2. Did I make things up out of thin air?

    3. Are there links to newspaper articles stating exactly what is in the video?

    4. Would the govts who have invaded Libya possibly make more "evidence" up to try and prove their lies?

I find your statement so hilarious, because what I did was prove from independent sources that Gaddafi indeed treated his people wonderfully.

Oh.... I wonder if there are lots of missing people that the U.S. did renditions on and took to torture chambers to waterboard have gone missing. Oh, but we dare not ask that question.

So, my propaganda machine....? LOL - sounds like someone from MSM doesn't like truth when they see it, in that all they are, are puppets for the govt and spew out lies and propaganda for them.

If I ever make something up from thin air that isn't truth due to the govt. wanting me to write it, then you would be absolutely correct.

Thanks for the laugh, I really needed one today!

  48. Is this (below, off Wikipedia) also not true??? If u dine and wine and have medication and education and house and car you still need freedom of expression, of the mind of assembly real human rights...

[According to the 2009 Freedom of the Press Index, Libya is the most-censored state in the Middle East and North Africa.[76]

Gaddafi created Revolutionary committees to keep tight control over internal dissent in 1973. Ten to 20 percent of Libyans worked as informants for these committees. Surveillance took place in the government, in factories, and in the education sector.[77] The government often executed dissidents through public hangings and mutilations and rebroadcast them on state television channels.[77][78] In 2011, Libya's press was rated as the most censored in the Middle East and North Africa.[79] Up to the mid 1980s, Libya's intelligence service conducted assassinations of Libyan dissidents around the world.[77][80] As of 2004 Gaddafi still provided bounties on his critics, including $1 million for one Libyan journalist in the United Kingdom.[81] Until recently, foreign languages such as English and French were banned from school syllabus and talking with foreigners about politics carried a three-year prison term.[82] Dissent is illegal under Law 75 of 1973 and Gaddafi has asserted that anyone guilty of founding a political party would be executed.[77]]

  49. As a Libyan, it is very sad for me to see you showing this video.

Gaddafi was a very bad man who was personally responsible for the killing of my own family members.

It is documented that he said he was coming after the Western powers (including the US) if NATO failed. He was a tyrant for 42 years and we are glad to be done with him and thankful for NATOs help.

  50. @ anonymous: quote "The government often executed dissidents through public hangings and mutilations and rebroadcast them on state television channels.[77][78]"
I find this very hard to believe. Especially since if it was on LIbyan TV it would have been easy for the US/Britain/Israel etc to get a copy, and they would certainly have publicized it.
Let me see your references. [77][78] doesn't mean anything at all.

@a crafty Arab: this could easily be a propaganda piece from the NWO, where's your evidence?

"- free health care, well, statistics says that more than 1/6 of Libyan population wich is about 1 million travel abroad for receiving right medical treatment"
Does the moron above realize how GOOD that sounds and proves Sherri's point? Name one other country that has it's citizenry so well off that 1/6th of them afford to travel overseas for "receiving right medical treatment"? Oh, the state pays for most? Well then, it is defined as "free health care"! Duh!

"how much Gaddafi has paid you ???"

    ReplyDelete
  60. First of all. Not saying that this is fake. But you can't believe anything on the internet these days, so the links could very well be invalid.

No one knows the full truth. Only the people that were there and/or of high status do, and they're either dead or sworn to secrecy. There are so many conspiracies about everything, ranging from 9/11 to Vietnam to Jesus Christ being the Son of God. It is impossible to know the full truth due to the US government's impeccable discrepancy. Yes, many things don't add up, many things are contradicted and mismatched it seems, but it's not like we're at liberty as mere Americans to become detectives and try to figure out the truth. As much as I am an advocate for civil disobedience, I really think it's not worth it. If America goes to shit because they government gets too corrupt, then let's all move to Canada. Problem solved.

The saying "The truth will set you free" is not relevant in this case, for most American citizens will not even pay an OUNCE of attention to this. They're going to glance at it, roll their eyes, and say, "Here we go, ANOTHER conspiracy theory..." and move on. So, why even bother? Trying to force it down people's throats is just as bad as being a pushy missionary for a church. It's annoying. Not saying that this site is particularly FORCING this down anyone's throats, but some of the clashing comments that I've read are completely unnecessary. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Let it be.

Anyway, although I'm not sure if I believe all of this to be totally true just yet, it was a very interesting watch/read. Thank you Sherrie. I will continue to research this further.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Thank you Sherrie for putting this together.

I'd like to add a fine point: even if Gaddafi were the evil madmen he is portrayed to be by the West, the US would not give a single care, it only cares about resources and its wider geopolitical agenda. The US does not give one damn about human rights, other than to use it as a tool to punish other countries for not doing as we say...

The hypocrisy of our country is sickening... We have Guantanamo, secret renditions, torture chambers all over the world, we kill our own citizens, we lock people up without due process and the list goes on...

How dare we speak of human rights, even in a whisper...

    Thanks again Sherrie.

    blessings-donna

  62. Thank you Sherrie, most people don't want to see this as truth because of the demonizing that was done to Gaddafi by the MSM for many years.

Isn't it amazing to see that the reality of a given situation will be exactly opposite of the way it is portrayed in the MSM?

The loss of Gaddafi and his plan for African Unification is huge for exploited Africa and for all who care about human rights anywhere in the world.

  65. A repeat of Iraq, only a smarter united States this time makes no american soldier looser life and limb, rather fanned discontent within few lybians, armed them, organised them and destroyed Libya. All the recent Middle-eastern uprising is orchastrated by the wastern world to be able to get the OPEC under their greedy fists. I am from India and have already felt what it is like to be robbed of your heritage, culture, money etc thanks to the british. What US is doing in the middle east is nothing short of what the British, French, Spaniards, Dutch etc did to its colonies. Not to forget what US did its colonies i.e hawaii, haiti etc. Ironically NATO consists of the same colonising nations. Its like the saying " old habbits, die hard" The US and NATO forces are modern day evils. People need to wake up.

  66. Water spilled in sand is difficult to salvage. Whether a good leader or a bad leader, he is no more, Libyans should now focus on moving forward. Those who supported Col Gadaffi should move forward and make libya an even better place, those who didn't should prove but doing a better job so that whichever way, the libyan common person and a country as a whole prospers further. I admired the empowerment of women as his close protection, spoke volumes!

  72. There are two other facets to Gaddafi’s revolution that did not receive their full merit in Sherrie’s otherwise excellent presentation. They are the racial harmony that was instilled within the multi-racial Libyan people and the equality placement the revolution gave to women in what was prior to Gaddafi a very conservative society that subjugated women.

Big thanks for your article and positive reader's comments here and to Rob for his great "opener" too.
I'm from Germany btw. and what I see is that over the years more and more and more ppl become awake (with one foot out of bed at least)and the trolls and defamers find less and less angles to cut in with their crap.
There was an article about the background of the attack that says that mainly Sarkozy pushed it (on the european side)because otherwise France would become bankrupt - the situation in the EUDSSR ( :) )is becomming more and more critical
Whats sad is - at least at german discussion boards - that many trolls still coming with that "anti-americanism", "US-haters" , "Nazis", Antisemitism" hammer which is true only in the context that many people are upset and fearful and start to blindy project because they can't stand the truth and due to the fact that the germans have been manipulated and fooled many many times a lot of them want to sleep on at all costs....similar to the american deception heithening the american way of life as superior..
You upright american people have my full compassion, as all upright and sincere ppl all over the world have - no matter where they are comming from - and I'm saying this knowing our own history - its disgusting...
